By Carlo Goldoni, Translated and adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher and Paolo Emilio Landi; Directed by Scott Ford
In this new version of Goldoni’s classic adapted by esteemed Minnesota playwright Jeffrey Hatcher, madcap servant Truffaldino finds himself up against masters, mistresses, lovers, lawyers and 27 plates of meatballs. With its fast-paced physical comedy, witty wordplay and colorful characters, THE SERVANT OF TWO MASTERS is a rollicking and entertaining romp that will have audiences laughing from start to finish.
This timeless masterpiece of comedic theater, which has been delighting audiences for centuries, is now cleverly updated and translated for modern audiences. Its deliciously funny plot, colorful characters and uproarious humor make it a must-see for anyone who loves great theater.
