The Island of Discarded Women Live Show & Podcast is a live variety show amplifying women's voices through powerful personal stories, captivating original music, empowering social commentary and an inspiring conversation with a special guest!
Special guest on April 4, Mary M. Tjosvold, is not only the highly successful owner of Crooners Supper Club, but is lauded for her humanitarian work locally and around the world. Mary’s tireless advocacy has focused on eliminating violence toward women, ending child trafficking, preserving the environment, and eliminating torture. She has been awarded countless awards for her humanitarianism.
Musical guest Yemi Love is a Nigerian American singer/songwriter with a rich, distinctive and soulful voice, known and loved for her contemporary urban soul and her lyrics that explore the empowering dimensions of love. A recording artist for almost 20 years, Yemi has been nominated for countless awards, has been commissioned to write music for film and has collaborated with Grammy award-winning artists.
Guest contributor Stacey Dinner-Levin joins with a powerful personal story of navigating life with an adult autistic son. Plus Island favorites, Dae Yang, Zippy Laske & host Sue Scott!
