About the Show

August 26, 2026

This Sensory Friendly Evening is a new quarterly after-hours event designed for adults with sensory processing differences.

Work on DIY art projects with a local artist and explore a selection of current exhibitions. From 5:30–8 pm, the galleries will be closed to the general public, allowing folks with autism, developmental disabilities, or other sensory sensitivities to enjoy the museum in a calm environment with quiet spaces, fidgets, sunglasses, and other accommodations available.

To support the health and safety of visitors at increased risk for COVID-19, masks are required for visitors over age 2. Accommodations are available if someone in your party is unable to tolerate masking.
