Her most recent novel is the New York Times bestselling The World We Make (2022), the conclusion to the Great Cities duology beginning with The City We Became. She was a 2020 MacArthur Fellow. Jemisin lives and writes in New York City. Presented by the Freier Lectures in Literature series; free with registration.
