Diane Wilson, author of The Seed Keeper and this year's NEA Big Read recipient, will read her essay created especially for this year’s Big Read. Diane's dream was to include more indigenous voices in this event. Diane and Rosetta Peters (Marine on St. Croix) work remotely with an all-female cohort of Očeti Šakowiŋ writers from South Dakota and Minnesota. The Wówapi Kága Oyáte writers will be in the St. Croix Valley to share their work alongside Diane and Rosie.
