About the Show
April 10, 2024
With humor, history and humbling questions, Living in America asks “What is public housing? Why is public housing? And why is the waitlist full?” zAmya’s spring Shareformance explores experiences with public housing and showcases original content created by participants of its Creative Expression Session workshops this winter and spring.
Free and sliding-scale tickets will be available at the door, starting at 5:30pm. The performance runs approximately 90 minutes with no intermission, and includes ASL interpretation. As a thank-you, $10 gift cards will be offered to audience members bringing the lived experience of housing instability, while supplies last.
