Richard Carrick presents in the School of Arts & Letters Colloquium Series: Joby Talbot’s Path of Miracles: A Musical Pilgrimage Along the Camino de Santiago. Path of Miracles is an hour-long choral composition that emulates the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage. The libretto weaves original poetry with quotations from medieval texts associated with the Camino. This presentation explores Talbot’s music and highlights the ways in which the composition transports the listener on a virtual pilgrimage.
