Timed tickets are now required for all visitors. For Sensory Friendly Sundays, you will have the option of 8 am, 9 am, or 10 am time slots. Please arrive during the hour you selected. Once inside the museum, you can stay as long as you want. Reserve your tickets at https://secure.walkerart.org/10272/11055. Limited walk-up tickets are available in-person at the front desk if the time slot you are interested in is full. If questions, contact access@walkerart.org or 612-375-7564.
About the Show
Every second Sunday (except June 2022 when it is on June 5)
Sensory Friendly Sunday is a monthly event designed for kids, teens and adults with sensory processing differences, autism spectrum disorder, or developmental disabilities. The galleries will be closed to the general public, allowing visitors to enjoy the museum in a calm environment with accommodations such as quiet spaces, fidgets, and sunglasses available. Experience select current Walker exhibitions, create your own artwork, and watch a short family-friendly film!
